Kendrick Lamar teams up Eddie Peake for "Sing About Me"

Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar teams up with British visual artist Eddie Peake and together they paint a pretty picture with the latest music video "Sing About Me."

The video begins with a statement that art, in all forms, is one of the few mediums that can truly stand the test of time and provide an influence for many generations to come.

"When the lights shut off, an artist's dream is that their work will stand the test of time. The ones that influence our culture are the ones we most remember. Here, two powerful creative forces come together to elevate the status quo and lay ground to their legacy. This is their poetry. Sing about them. This is part one."

A part two, probably titled "Dying of Thirst" will also be released in the near future.
