3 The Hard Way
Kollage is Bahamadia's debut solo album, which was released in 1996. Its lead single, “3 Tha Hard Way,” was produced by DJ Premier and features K-Swift & Mecca Starr.
Bahamadia is a well respected female emcee around the world. She has expressed a positive attitude toward globalism as an emerging trend in hip hop. In a 2003 collaboration with the Sisters of the Underground on a track entitled "Global", she performs lyrics in the chorus which acknowledge Japan, Canada, Sweden, Norway, and Thailand, among other countries, for fostering vibrant Hip Hop communities, and Japan in particular for the dedication of her Japanese fans.
She had guest appearances on tracks by well respected rappers including The Roots, Talib Kweli, Guru, Jedi Mind Tricks, Planet Asia, and many more.
