Jeanius

Scheduled for release as early as 2004, "Jeanius" Jean Grae's third studio album, produced by 9th Wonder, leaked and spawned various pirated versions of the unfinished project and was delayed for unknown reasons and has since been heavily bootlegged on the internet. After Jean Grae signed with Talib Kweli's label Blacksmith Records "Jeanius" was released on July 8, 2008.

What I like about this release is the booklet, don't get me wrong, the album is great and Jean Grae proves that she's one of the best female MC's alive. The booklet for this album contains recreations of classic Hip Hop album covers featuring images of  Jean Grae and 9th Wonder superimposed onto covers of Public Enemy's "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back", Das EFX's "Dead Serious", Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..." and Black Sheep's "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing". A unique and nice feature added to the album, if you ask me.
