"The Message"

"The Message" is a track dedicated to Dr. Dre's [@drdre] late brother. It is perceived as a message to both God and his late brother. "The Message" was ghost written by Ryan Daniel Montgomery better known as Royce Da 5'9 [@royceda59], produced by Lord Finesse [@LordFinesseDITC] and was included on Dre's second studio album, The Chronic 2001 released November 16, 1999 being the follow-up to Dr. Dre's debut album The Chronic, released on December 15, 1992. It's easy to notice that "The Message" is different from the rest of the album, which was more centered around thug-life. The track also features R&B singers Mary J. Blige [@maryjblige] and Gerrell Gaddis better known as Rell [@rellmusic803]
